The project is a high-performance, environmentally responsible development that substantially limits energy and water consumption. It is also certified as an Enterprise Green Communities development.

This large-scale master plan brings 1,163 much-needed affordable housing units for low-income households. The Fountains, first announced by Governor Cuomo in 2017, sits on just under seven acres of land and includes deep affordability and middle-income affordable units, along with supportive services for seniors and residents with special needs, a new one-acre open space called Schroeders Walk, and commercial and retail space.
